According to him, the transition from summer weather to pre-autumn occurred in less than two weeks. First of all, nighttime temperatures noticeably decreased: if at the turn of July and August they reached +18…+20 °C, by mid-August they dropped below +10 °C.
However, the climatic autumn in Yekaterinburg usually begins only on August 24. There are currently no grounds to believe that it will arrive earlier this year.
The upcoming week will be close to the climatic norm. The coldest day will be Monday, August 17, after which the temperature will start to rise. The peak heat is expected on Thursday, August 20, when the air in the region will warm up to +25°C.
