In the Pyshminsky District of the Sverdlovsk Region, a six-month-old baby died in a car accident. The accident occurred on August 17 on the 184th kilometer of the Yekaterinburg - Tyumen highway.
According to preliminary data from the State Traffic Inspectorate, a 35-year-old driver of an Exeed car was driving from the direction of Tyumen towards Yekaterinburg. The man chose an unsafe speed, which caused him to lose control of the vehicle. The car went off the road and overturned.
The driver, his 35-year-old wife, and their three-year-old son were injured in the accident. All of them are receiving medical assistance.
Another child—a six-month-old boy—was ejected from the car during the overturning and died before the ambulance arrived.
Employees of the State Traffic Inspectorate and an investigative operational group are working at the scene. The circumstances of the accident are being established.
