      The agreement on medical support for the special contingent was concluded between SIZO-4 and the Kamyshlov District Hospital, the press service of the Federal Penitentiary Service of Russia for the Sverdlovsk region reported on Thursday. A working meeting of the parties took place in Kamyshlov at the premises of the medical organization the day before, on August 19.

      The management of SIZO-4 (Kamyshlov) met with the chief physician of the Kamyshlov Central District Hospital. A key outcome of the meeting was the signing of an agreement on cooperation regarding the medical support of suspects, accused individuals, and convicts.

      The document regulates the procedure for allocating specialized medical wards for providing planned and emergency assistance to the special contingent.

      During the negotiations, the parties discussed in detail the technical aspects of implementing the agreement: equipping the premises with engineering and technical means of security and supervision, integrating video surveillance systems, security and fire alarms, and access control to ensure the safety of personnel while maintaining the isolation regime for patients.

      The implementation of the project will significantly improve the quality of medical assistance to individuals held in penitentiary institutions, ensure the timeliness of medical care, and optimize the logistics of moving the special contingent beyond the restricted area.
