The renovation work at MAOU SOSH No. 69 lasted just over a year. During this period, students, about 800 people, were transferred to other schools, most of them to school No. 1 on VIZ Boulevard, reports 66.RU.
The building's engineering systems were completely updated, air conditioning was installed, the roof, windows, and floors were replaced, and the capacity of the cafeteria was increased, allowing meals to be prepared on-site.
Also, the building has implemented "Accessible Environment" standards - a lift for wheelchairs has been installed at the main entrance and special restrooms have been provided.
Starting from September 1, the school will be able to accommodate 960 people.
In addition, according to Yekaterinburg Mayor Alexey Orlov, on Knowledge Day, school No. 366, with a capacity of 1,500, will welcome students, the construction of which in the area of the Central Park of Culture and Leisure was completed this year, reports the city information portal.
