"Uralochka-NTMK" will compete against the strongest clubs for the right to play in the "Final Four".
From August 24 to 29, Yekaterinburg will host volleyball matches of the Spartakiad of the Peoples of Russia, bringing together the strongest clubs in the country. The women's team of the Sverdlovsk region will be represented by "Uralochka-NTMK," the club's press service reported.
The upcoming tournament will be a key test for the teams before the start of the regular championship. In addition to competing for the Spartakiad trophy, participants will vie for the right to compete in the "Final Four" of the Russian Super Cup.
Twelve of the best teams from the Super League, based on the results of the 2025/2026 Russian championship, will enter the competition, divided into three groups ("A," "B," "C") based on a "snake" principle. The system is simple: a round-robin stage within the groups, where each team plays against each other, after which the best teams will continue to compete for medals.
The Sverdlovsk women will face teams from Moscow, the Omsk region, and the Krasnodar region in group "C."
The group winners and one team that finishes second with the best statistics will advance to the "Final Four."
The competitions will take place at the DIVS and the Nikolai Karpol Volleyball Academy. Free tickets can be purchased on the websites of the ANO "Games," the Spartakiad, or the ticket operator.
