In St. Petersburg, the appeal of the Ural family accused of raping their daughters and sons will be considered.

      The Second Court of Appeal of General Jurisdiction in St. Petersburg will consider the complaint of a couple from Nizhnyaya Salda, convicted of violence against their daughters and sons. Relevant information appeared in the registry of the instance.

      The couple, raising five children, was detained in April 2025 when relatives of the woman learned about what was happening in the family. According to relatives, during a search, a bag of sex toys was found with the spouses. The man worked as a driver, while his wife was employed in the security of a local enterprise. Previously, the Ural resident had worked as a dog handler.

      In July 2026, the Sverdlovsk Regional Court sentenced the man to 24.5 years in a strict regime colony, with a prohibition on engaging in activities related to children for 20 years. His wife was sentenced to 17 years in a general regime colony. She was also banned from engaging in activities related to children for 15 years. The date for the consideration of the appeal has not yet been set.
