In the Sverdlovsk region, a man is being tried for drawing a swastika with chocolate.

      A resident of Kamensk-Uralsky was fined 2,000 rubles for publicly displaying Nazi symbols. The man drew a symbol resembling a swastika on the asphalt using remnants of a chocolate bar and his own leg.

      The incident occurred in a public place. The young man depicted a four-armed symbol with arms bent clockwise on the surface. This was reported by the press service of the Sverdlovsk region courts. An expert examination established that the image bears resemblance to Nazi symbols to the point of confusion.

      An administrative protocol was drawn up against the man under part 1 of article 20.3 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation. In court, he admitted his guilt and explained that he drew the symbol "out of foolishness," not thinking about the possible consequences. He expressed remorse for his actions.

      The Sinarsky District Court of Kamensk-Uralsky found the man guilty and imposed a fine of 2,000 rubles.

      Previously, a Russian citizen was fined 150,000 rubles for hogweed.
