Sverdlovsk drivers reported the closure of Gazpromneft gas stations for repairs amid long queues.
The closure of individual gas stations of Gazpromneft in the north of the Sverdlovsk region amid long queues for gasoline has caused confusion and outrage among some drivers. One motorist shared his emotions in the public group "Yekaterinburg - Serov" on MAH.
"Enough is enough. We seem to have huge problems with gasoline in our region right now, with multi-kilometer queues everywhere, and Gazpromneft is calmly closing gas stations for repairs during this frenzy," writes the anonymous author of the message. — "It looks like a feast during the plague from the outside" (the author's style, punctuation, and spelling are preserved here and below — note from Uralweb).
"I understand that everything is planned there, but now an exception can be made. First, they closed the gas station in Novaya Lyala for repairs, leaving several districts without gasoline, and everyone went to the nearest gas stations, and everything got stuck in huge queues. Now they are closing in Verkhoturye and opening a gas station in Lyala," the author provides details.
"And here you can't leave your car and take public transport to work, as many people work 30-40 km away, and there is simply no daily public transport," he added.
It was previously reported that at the beginning of the year, the Shabrovskaya oil depot, which supplied fuel to the Ural capital, also owned by Gazpromneft, closed for repairs.
The Uralweb.ru portal contacted the press service of Gazpromneft to clarify how critical the repair deadlines for the gas stations were, whether alternatives were considered, and the consequences of closing gas stations in remote areas of the Sverdlovsk region, where the situation with gasoline supply has been officially recognized as one of the most challenging.
It should be noted that earlier the authorities of the Sverdlovsk region appealed to the Ministry of Energy of the Russian Federation with a request to redistribute fuel volumes between the gas stations of Lukoil and Gazpromneft. The latter is experiencing huge loads, as Lukoil's gas stations have faced temporary difficulties.
