The Isuzu driver who hit the motorcyclist admitted that he hates them.
Today at 15:30, Aleksey Grom, the driver of the yellow Isuzu who injured a girl on a motorcycle in a road accident yesterday, shared his version of the incident with E1.RU.
"I saw in the left mirror that the motorcyclist was trying to cut in, violating the road markings, attempting to overtake me on the dividing line. I am driving, not exceeding the speed. The motorcyclist overtakes me from the left side. He drives in front of me and stops in the middle of my car and hits the brakes. Naturally, I do not have time to react, a collision occurs, and the hood opens," Aleksey Grom told E1.RU.
However, the girl’s friends reported that the injured Nadya Gugumberidze managed to text them after the accident that the yellow car had been following her for a long time, according to special correspondent Darya Manokhina from E1.RU. Currently, a single mother raising a son with a disability is in intensive care on a ventilator.
No braking marks from either Aleksey’s Isuzu or Nadya’s motorcycle were found at the scene. "He dragged her 500 meters until she hit the guardrail and then calmly drove onto the shoulder," said the injured girl’s sister.
The traffic police report that the driver of the Isuzu admitted he did not brake immediately after the impact because, according to him, that could have caused a mass accident—other cars were driving behind him. "I found a gap and pulled onto the shoulder," explained Aleksey Grom.
In a conversation with E1.RU, the man confirmed that he does not consider himself responsible for the accident. In his opinion, it is motorcyclists who are causing chaos on the roads, and he is even ready to lead a movement called "Car drivers against lawlessness."
