The Ideologist of the Yeltsin Center, Lyudmila Telen, has decided to sue Solovyov's journalists
Today at 17:30, the Deputy Director of the Yeltsin Center, Lyudmila Telen, will file a lawsuit against the "Russia 24" TV channel and the Telegram channel URALLIVE, reports EAN agency. This was announced by the Yeltsin Center's press secretary, Elena Volodarskaya.
The reason was the publication of a photograph of Lyudmila Telen's Israeli passport in these sources, which, according to Yeltsin Center staff, violates personal data laws. Additionally, they claim that the publication contains "malicious distortions" and is part of a "planned informational attack" being conducted for several months.
"Lyudmila Telen is a citizen of the Russian Federation. She is also a citizen of Israel. A Russian citizen has the right to hold dual citizenship, and this does not limit their rights," conveys 66.RU the position of the Yeltsin Center.
It should be reminded that at the end of May, RIA Novosti reported that, according to Telegram channels, Lyudmila Telen, after an appeal to law enforcement by State Duma deputy Mikhail Delyagin, urgently left for Israel. The Yeltsin Center denied this information. "Lyudmila Telen is currently on a scheduled vacation, but definitely not in Israel," a center spokesperson told RIA Novosti.
