In the Urals, a woman was unable to sell her apartment because of unpaid utility bills.
In Kurgan, a local resident accumulated more than 200,000 rubles in utility debt and could not sell her apartment due to restrictions imposed by bailiffs. This was reported by the press service of the Federal Bailiff Service for the Kurgan Region.
The woman had not paid her electricity, water and heating bills for a long time but continued to use all the services. The debt exceeded 208,000 rubles, and the case was transferred to the bailiffs. When the apartment owner decided to sell the property, it turned out that the transaction could not be completed — a ban had been placed on the property.
Part of the debt had previously been withheld from her wages, but after she was fired there was no longer a source of official income. To complete the sale to the buyer, the woman turned to the Federal Bailiff Service and paid off the debt in full. After that the restrictions were lifted and the enforcement proceedings were terminated.
