The migration departments of Yekaterinburg, where queues for passports usually form, will switch to a new schedule. They will operate from 08:00 to 20:00. But there's a catch: only for two days — September 13 and 14. During this time the governor of Sverdlovsk Oblast will be elected.

“The schedule for accepting documents has been temporarily changed to optimize the work of the divisions,” the press group of the Yekaterinburg Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs reported.
Starting Monday, all departments will return to their usual operating mode.
