The closure is related to a ruptured gas pipe. The emergency service "Yekaterinburggaz" confirmed this information to the E1.RU portal.
"Personnel are on site; the gas leak has been stopped," the emergency service clarified.
A local resident said that the gas pipe is lying on the asphalt.
Earlier it was reported that part of the Perm–Yekaterinburg highway was closed due to repairs.
