A Sverdlovsk crime boss who was preparing to join the special military operation was taken into custody.
A new criminal case has been opened against former member of the Yekaterinburg organized crime group "Center," Sergey Gorshunov, and he has been detained. This was reported by Ura.Ru citing the judge of the Kirovsky District Court during the hearing of the criminal case over the murder of businessman Viktor Ternyak, for which Gorshunov is on trial.
Earlier Gorshunov's lawyer said that Gorshunov was in a hospital in Zaporizhzhia Oblast.
"We received a response from the Central District Hospital that Gorshunov's medical record is not in the facility. He did not seek assistance there. Information has been received that Gorshunov has been detained; a preventive measure was chosen for him in Moscow in the form of pretrial detention. The investigation filed the motion for this," the judge noted.
After the hearing Gorshunov said that "he had long wanted to go to the special military operation."
Gorshunov was detained again in Zaporizhzhia Oblast. Despite the detention, he was declared wanted.
Earlier the ringleader of the gang of torturers from the Kamensk car wash set out for the special military operation.
