In Krasnoturyinsk, a court prohibited SDEK from unloading goods in the courtyard of an apartment building.

In Krasnoturyinsk the city court prohibited SDEK from unloading goods in the yard of an apartment building.

The territorial department of Rospotrebnadzor filed a lawsuit against individual entrepreneur Faizullaeva in the Krasnoturyinsk City Court, the United Press Service of the Courts of the Sverdlovsk Region reports.

The complaint was prompted by residents of the building at 36 Lenin Street in Krasnoturyinsk. Residents say they are disturbed by SDEK’s unloading of goods, which is carried out in the yard, right by the building entrance. The entrance to the SDEK premises is located on the street side, and residents believe it is possible to carry goods in through that entrance.

An inspection carried out by a Rospotrebnadzor specialist confirmed a violation of sanitary norms. A warning was issued to entrepreneur Faizullaeva requiring her to change the unloading process.

However, a follow-up inspection showed that nothing had changed: trucks continued to inconvenience residents by cluttering the yard and creating noise.

The Krasnoturyinsk City Court sided with Rospotrebnadzor and ordered the entrepreneur to stop unloading from the yard within 10 days of the decision coming into force.

“Very useful and relevant practice for many residents of apartment buildings,” one user commented on the court’s report.

Note that recently pickup points (PVZ) have been opening on the ground floors of apartment buildings, and unloading of goods takes place several times a day, including at night.
