Many flights at Koltsovo are being delayed.
Mass delays of flights to Sochi at Koltsovo Airport.
Numerous changes to the schedule have been recorded on the airport’s online departures board. Waiting times range from one to eight hours. The majority of the delayed flights were bound for Sochi.
A total of eight departures have been postponed: two each for Aeroflot and Pobeda, and one each for Ural Airlines, Rossiya, Azur Air and Nordwind.
The longest delay is for Rossiya’s flight to Sochi: the plane was due to depart on October 3 at 06:05, but the new departure time is set for 14:30. A Nordwind flight to the same city was also delayed — from 05:30 to 10:00.
Postponements affected other routes as well:
— Aeroflot, Ural Airlines and Pobeda flights to Sochi were delayed for between one and four hours;
— a Pobeda flight to Moscow was postponed by seven hours (from 06:00 to 13:00);
— an Aeroflot flight to Krasnodar was delayed by two hours;
— Azur Air’s flight to Antalya was postponed from 08:35 to 11:30.
Last night Sochi Airport was closed. Restrictions on departures and arrivals were imposed there.
