The young man in Yekaterinburg who killed his own mother and cut off her head explained why he did it.

The Leninsky Court in Yekaterinburg has ordered pretrial detention for a native of Kyrgyzstan suspected of killing his mother with a kitchen knife. The woman's headless body was found by a passerby in the Southwest Forest Park. The suspect turned out to be her son, Kuvanchbek Temirganiev. According to the investigation, the conflict between them arose against a background of frequent quarrels and personal animosity. The defendant's lawyer notes that the man had an unhappy childhood and possible psychological problems, and also points out that the victim suffered from a mental illness, which does not rule out a state of insanity.

“These are motives of personal animosity, quarrels, childhood traumas, possibly a mental disorder. They came to view an apartment in Akademichesky, a quarrel broke out that ended tragically,” Kuvanchbek’s lawyer said. Reported by the "Fourth Channel."

According to Kuvanchbek himself, the murder was the result of his mother's words: “I should have killed you when you were an infant,” which he perceived as an insult. The man planned to meet his mother to talk and mend their relationship, but he took a knife in case a conflict arose. He delivered one precise blow to the throat — using skills acquired from working with meat in a restaurant and experience slaughtering livestock according to halal standards. The weapon was thrown into a trash bin in the forest park. At the hearing, Kuvanchbek pleaded guilty and expressed remorse. The Leninsky Court remanded him to pretrial detention for two months.
