A criminal case was opened against the schoolgirls who beat a Sverdlovsk resident for fun.
The head of the Investigative Committee of Russia, Alexander Bastrykin, ordered that a report be submitted on the investigation of a criminal case concerning two schoolgirls from Kamensk-Uralsky who beat an elderly man in order to film a video for social media. Investigators found signs of the offense defined in the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation as “hooliganism” in their actions.
A video circulated in the media showing two minors in Kamensk-Uralsky attacking an elderly man and kicking him. They filmed their actions, the Investigative Committee of Russia reported on its Telegram channel.
The incident occurred on October 30. According to preliminary information, the girls approached the man from behind, began kicking him in the legs and knocked him to the ground while recording what was happening on a phone.
After the incident, the schoolgirls were given a preventive talk. The girls admitted their guilt and apologized to the victim.
