In Sverdlovsk Oblast there is a shortage of specialists in retail trade, as well as in medicine and pharmaceuticals. According to analysts at hh.ru, there are on average about two resumes per vacancy in these fields, which indicates strong demand for workers.
"The most undersupplied areas remain 'Retail trade' — roughly 2 resumes per vacancy, and 'Medicine, Pharmaceuticals' — 2.6 resumes," the hh.ru research center's report notes.
In addition, a shortage of staff is felt in the manufacturing sector, the service sector and construction: here on average about three applications are received per job offer, whereas a balanced level is considered to be at least four.
At the same time, an excess of job seekers is observed in professional fields with a high level of competition — "Arts, Entertainment, Mass Media," "Strategy, Investments, Consulting" and "Marketing, Advertising, PR." Analysts note that in such fields employers are imposing increasingly strict requirements on candidates' qualifications and skills.
