The giant lantern festival "Kingdom of Magical Lights" opened at Mayakovsky Central Park in Yekaterinburg.
The new location is situated opposite the "Upside-Down House," the Mayakovsky Park page on VKontakte reports.
"Kingdom" opened on Friday, November 14 and will welcome guests until January 25. Visitors who bought tickets can expect a spectacle of light installations and atmospheric music.
As KP-Yekaterinburg writes, more than 150 glowing figures inspired by fairy tales are on display.
The light sculptures were created by artists from Kaliningrad using a technology that has been used for centuries by the makers of Chinese lanterns, Kommersant-Ural reports.
In the comments under the Park's post, users who had attended a similar festival in previous years said they wandered there, mesmerized.
