Widespread train delays have begun in Sverdlovsk Oblast due to a severe fire.
Mass train delays began due to a severe fire on the Shamary–Kordon section of the Sverdlovsk Railway. So far 14 services have been postponed. This was reported by the press service of the Federal Passenger Company.
As a result, the following trains are delayed:
No. 92 Moscow — Severobaikalsk;
No. 70 Moscow — Chita;
No. 146 Saint Petersburg — Chelyabinsk;
No. 10 Moscow — Vladivostok;
No. 14 Saint Petersburg — Novokuznetsk;
No. 78 Moscow — Abakan;
No. 72 Saint Petersburg — Yekaterinburg;
No. 2 Moscow — Vladivostok;
No. 9 Vladivostok — Moscow;
No. 73 Tyumen — Saint Petersburg;
No. 69 Chita — Moscow;
No. 109 Novy Urengoy — Moscow;
No. 85 Serov — Moscow;
No. 1 Vladivostok — Moscow.
The trains pass through Chusovskaya and Nizhny Tagil stations, joining the main route that runs through Yekaterinburg and Perm, respectively. Passengers on trains delayed by more than four hours are provided with meals.
Earlier in Yekaterinburg an important train was delayed for almost a day.
