Seven memorandums of cooperation in the field of tourism were signed by representatives of tourism companies from the Sverdlovsk Region and Tajikistan. This was reported by KP‑Yekaterinburg, citing the Department of Information Policy of the Sverdlovsk Region.
The signing ceremony took place in Dushanbe.
As Vyacheslav Yarin, the Minister of International and Foreign Economic Relations of the Sverdlovsk Region, said, representatives of tour companies and heads of trade unions of large industrial enterprises from the Sverdlovsk Region traveled to Tajikistan at the invitation of the foreign side. Their aim is to study Tajikistan’s tourism potential.
Special attention is being paid to trade-union projects aimed at improving vacation conditions for workers on both sides. In particular, preliminary agreements have been reached on the creation of glamping sites.
