The Prosecutor General's Office will inspect the construction near the Ural presidential envoy's office in Yekaterinburg.
The Prosecutor General's Office of the Russian Federation will examine the situation with the project to build high-rise buildings in the protected zone near the building of the Ural presidential envoy's office in Yekaterinburg. An appeal from citizens was sent to the agency, the EAN news agency reports.
On Tuesday EAN learned that the Prosecutor General's Office will study the situation with the mutually exclusive expert assessments. Residents sent an appeal to the head of state, Vladimir Putin, on December 19 during the Direct Line, EAN writes.
Earlier, an EAN source reported that the Sverdlovsk Oblast Department for the State Protection of Cultural Heritage Sites (OKN) is appealing the Sverdlovsk Regional Court's decision in the dispute over construction next to the building of the presidential envoy's office in Yekaterinburg. The department said their complaint was not properly considered, EAN reports. It should be recalled that the court effectively obliged the OKN to accept the expert assessment allowing a skyscraper to be built on Dobrolyubova Street, rather than the later second assessment that prohibited the construction.
