      The Yekaterinburg Zoo invites city residents, ahead of the New Year, to choose a snow‑white zoo-Snegurochka from among its animals.

      "Every year we traditionally award the titles of zoo Mister and zoo Miss. But we haven't chosen a Snegurochka yet," the zoo's press service said. "So we want to end this magical year with a bright event and find out who will become the zoo-Snegurochka of the coming year."

      Competing for the title of zoo-Snegurochka are:

      Albina — a reddish‑gray wallaby. Young and energetic, she doesn't give way to anyone when jumping;

      Olkha — an Indian porcupine. Prickly on the outside, but so affectionate and loves attention;

      Buklya — a snowy owl. A charming nocturnal huntress with a mesmerizing gaze;

      Khatanga — a female polar bear. A frost‑resistant champion swimmer;

      Ambi — an axolotl. A secret inhabitant of the waters with a delightful smile;

      Flora — a royal python. Graceful and mysterious, she keeps her cool even in front of the camera;

      Omega — an Arctic fox. An elegant athlete who likes to dress for the season.

      You can vote until December 28 on the zoo's page on the social network VKontakte. After the contest, the Yekaterinburg Zoo will arrange congratulations for the winner.
