The first vice-rector of UrFU Dmitry Bugrov is resigning.
The first vice-rector of UrFU, Dmitry Bugrov, who held this position since May 2011, has been dismissed, reports "Ъ-Ural."
On the day of his dismissal, March 19, Dmitry Bugrov turned 64 years old. He will continue to work at UrFU as the head of the Department of Socio-Cultural Service and Tourism.
In 2007, Dmitry Bugrov was elected rector of UrGU and remained in this position until the merger of the Ural State University named after A.M. Gorky with UGTU-UPI, which began in 2009.
In addition to Bugrov, who held the position of first vice-rector, the new rector Ilya Obabkov dismissed three vice-rectors and one director, notes "Ъ-Ural." A position of president was created for the former rector Viktor Koksharov.
After the personnel changes at UrFU, the first vice-rectors Sergey Kortov and Daniil Sandler (responsible for the field of economics and strategic development), vice-rectors Alexander Germanenko (for science), Sergey Tushin (for international relations), Pavel Mezentsev (for general issues), and the director of the Department of Information Technologies Alexey Syskov retained their positions, reports "Ъ-Ural."
The rectorate team was joined by vice-rectors Oleg Obukhov (for educational activities) and Alexander Ivanov (for youth policy).
