Russian doctors arrived in the Thai city of Chonburi to transport 29-year-old Yekaterinburg resident Yekaterina Panova to Moscow. This was reported by "KP-Yekaterinburg."
"The plane is already ready to take us, and soon we will be on our way home to Russia. There Katya will receive the necessary help and support," writes the tourist's sister Alena on social media. According to the sister, the transportation cost 350,000 rubles.
The Russian woman lost consciousness after having her wisdom tooth removed in Thailand under insurance. She spent two weeks in the intensive care unit of a Thai hospital. In mid-January, Yekaterina flew to Thailand for a vacation with her sister Alena.
Since the age of 15, Yekaterina has been using a wheelchair. Due to the developed infrastructure for people with disabilities, she moved from Yekaterinburg to Saki.
