In the Sverdlovsk region, the schedule and routes of electric trains will change from April 1.
The Sverdlovsk suburban company, at the request of the regional Ministry of Transport, has changed the routes of about ten trains. The new schedule will take effect in April, the carrier's press service reported to the 66.RU portal.
Now, the electric trains that used to run from Yekaterinburg to Boksity and Karpinsk will only reach Serov. Additionally, their frequency has been reduced: instead of a daily schedule, they will only operate on Fridays, weekends, and holidays.
Changes have also affected other directions. Trains from Nizhny Tagil to Nizhny Tura now only go as far as Kushva, and electric trains from Yekaterinburg to Izumrud and Asbest will only reach the Bazhenovo station.
The final stop "Nizhny" on the route to Yekaterinburg via Kamensk-Uralsky has also been canceled.
Trains to Druzhinino will now complete their route in Revda.
The frequency of electric trains between Nizhny Tagil and Kachkanar will also decrease—they will run from Friday to Monday, as well as on holidays. At the same time, the route "Asian - Nizhny Tagil" will be extended to Kachkanar, adding seven new stops along the way, including Imenovsky, Chistye Klyuchi, and Chekmen.
Some electric trains will simply be canceled in the region.
