The skier who assaulted a schoolboy in Uktus has had his charges increased.
A resident of Yekaterinburg, Yakov Shusharin, who beat a 13-year-old schoolboy on the Uktus ski slope last winter, has been charged with a new offense, reports "KP-Yekaterinburg."
In addition to paragraph "a" of Article 213 of the Criminal Code "Hooliganism with the use of violence," Shusharin has been charged under Article 112 of the Criminal Code "Deliberate infliction of moderate harm to health," according to "KP-Yekaterinburg."
The mother of the victimized schoolboy told the publication that her son was able to return to school only 42 days after the incident (it was previously reported that he suffered a closed head injury and a concussion). The woman also mentioned that the boy would need to undergo surgery on his nose.
It is expected that the prosecutor's office will send the criminal case to the Chkalovsky District Court for substantive consideration in the near future.
Recall that 38-year-old Yakov Shusharin was detained on January 20 after he beat 13-year-old Vlastimir on January 17 for knocking his wife down. The man, who worked as a guide and rented out ski equipment, does not admit his guilt. He insists that he attacked the teenager because he was very scared for his little daughter and the possible pregnancy of his wife.
