April 14, 2026 Governor of the Sverdlovsk region Denis Pasler announced the completion of the renovation of the outpatient clinic of the Sysert Central District Hospital in the village of Nikolskoye, reports the press service of the regional Ministry of Health.
Builders have completely updated the space of nearly 700 square meters over the course of a year. "More than a thousand residents will receive medical assistance in comfortable conditions. At the same time, we managed to preserve the historical facade of the building, which is over a hundred years old," said Denis Pasler.
In the renovated areas of the medical outpatient clinic, a therapist's office, a paramedic's office, a treatment room, and a day hospital with six beds have been opened. An ambulance substation of the Sysert Central District Hospital also operates here.
The staff of the unit is complete. It includes both experienced employees and a young specialist, the district therapist Evgeny Ferster.
"This is a resident of Nikolskoye, our target specialist, who returned to his homeland after obtaining higher medical education," said the chief physician of the Sysert Central District Hospital, Rifaat Yangurazov.
In addition, it is planned to build three paramedic-midwifery stations in small settlements of the Sysert district.
"This will make medical assistance even more qualitative, and the conditions for receiving it comfortable, including for rural residents, as the village is the foundation of Russia," noted the deputy governor - Minister of Health of the Sverdlovsk region, Tatyana Savinova.
The village of Nikolskoye is the hometown of reality show participant Angelina Tatarchenkova from TNT. Later, after gaining fame, the girl moved to Yekaterinburg and decided to become a blogger and also enroll in acting courses.
In 2023, activists from the People's Front visited the village of Nikolskoye and concluded that without infrastructure for living, the village is dying.
In 2025, a scandal erupted in the Sverdlovsk region surrounding a forecast prepared by RANEPA for the Russian government. The forecasters compiled a list of small Russian cities that were supposedly going to disappear. The Sverdlovsk city of Verkhny Tagil was included in it. Such an expert opinion offended not only the ordinary residents of the city but also its head.
