The Sverdlovsk politician from the 90s has been finally declared bankrupt due to billion-dollar debts.
The Arbitration Court of Moscow has completed the procedure for the realization of the assets of the legendary Sverdlovsk politician, former State Duma deputy Valery Yazev, reports the EAN agency.
The owner of the holding "Java" (named after the owner's initials) Valery Yazev was declared bankrupt in 2020. The amount of claims from creditors he owed was nearly 2 billion rubles.
Money to cover the debts was obtained through the sale of real estate, land plots, shares, and firearms. In addition, efforts were made to recover debts from counterparties.
In total, as reported by EAN citing materials from the arbitration court, the claims of creditors were settled for an amount exceeding 751 million rubles. The asset realization procedure has been completed in full, the court ruled.
After settling with the main creditors, Yazev still owes more than 279 million rubles to LLC "Java Stroy." He is still not released from obligations regarding this debt.
