The young men who died in the VAZ "eight" that veered off the road in the Sukholoshsky district were a former employee of the State Traffic Safety Inspectorate and his friend. This was reported by "KP-Ekaterinburg."
In the accident that occurred on the night of May 25 on the 10th kilometer of the road from the village of Sergulovka to the village of Mahanovo, 23-year-old Stepan Sokolov and 24-year-old Sergey Purat died.
Stepan and Sergey had known each other since childhood, but their friendship developed recently. The young men spent time together and drove around in a car.
Sergey worked at a factory, while Stepan had recently resigned from the Ministry of Internal Affairs, where he served first in the State Traffic Safety Inspectorate and later as a district police officer, writes "KP-Ekaterinburg."
According to the State Traffic Safety Inspectorate, Stepan was behind the wheel.
The driver exceeded the speed limit, resulting in the "eight" veering into a ditch and flipping over. Stepan and Sergey were not wearing seatbelts and were ejected from the car.
As friend of the deceased, Evgeny, told "KP-Ekaterinburg," both had mothers and sisters left behind.
