A guest was arrested in Yekaterinburg for a swastika on a poster with Vladimir Putin.
In Yekaterinburg, a girl who drew a swastika on a poster of Russian President Vladimir Putin has been placed under arrest, reports "KP-Yekaterinburg."
The incident, which occurred on May 10 on Vainera Street, was captured by surveillance cameras, according to the records of the Verkh-Isetsky District Court.
At the entrance to the alley, the citizen used a black marker to apply an image of "a graphic symbol that is the insignia of Nazi Germany" on a poster featuring the president, which was displayed on an information stand, as stated in the court ruling.
The court found the girl guilty under part 1 of Article 20.3 of the Administrative Offenses Code of the Russian Federation "Public demonstration of Nazi symbols" and sentenced her to 12 days of arrest. The defendant fully admitted her guilt.
She drew the swastika on the poster with the president "as a joke," the detained girl explained the reason for her actions.
Previously, the defendant had not been held administratively responsible for similar violations. According to her, she came to Yekaterinburg to visit.
