On June 9, around 4:14 PM, in the village of Kuryi, the driver of an unidentified vehicle hit a 12-year-old girl on Karl Marx Street, 33a. At that moment, the schoolgirl was crossing the road at a pedestrian crossing. This was reported by the State Traffic Inspectorate of the Sverdlovsk region.
Now law enforcement is searching for the culprit of the accident.
— After the collision, the driver exited the vehicle, checked on the condition of the 12-year-old victim. The man bought her a chocolate bar at a store and fled the scene of the accident. The schoolgirl was taken to the Sukholozhsk District Hospital with injuries, the agency noted.
The State Traffic Inspectorate urges witnesses, as well as those familiar with the situation, to contact the police at the phone number: 8 (34373) 4-27-87, or 102.
Earlier in Yekaterinburg, a scooter rider hit a 17-year-old girl and left the scene of the incident.
