The opening date of the "Golden" shopping center in Yekaterinburg has been postponed for the fourth time.
The "Golden" shopping center in Botanika will be put into operation in the first quarter of the next year, 2027. This was reported by the head of the consumer market department of the Yekaterinburg administration, Maxim Chaplygin, at a city council commission on economic development, as conveyed by 66.RU.
The "Golden" shopping center is a development project by the company "Malyisheva 73" of Igor Zavadovsky and Konstantin Pogrebinsky. For its construction, the historic building of the Uktus airport was demolished in 2021, against which public activists protested.
Initially, the facility was planned to be completed in 2023, but the start date has been postponed multiple times. The last announced deadline for putting it into operation was the end of 2026, writes 66.RU.
Among the anchor tenants of "Golden" is the hypermarket "Hyperbola" (present in two other shopping centers owned by "Malyisheva 73" - "Passage" and "Greenwich"), the Maza Park amusement park with a large cinema, and a gastronomic hub.
