The defendants in the murder of Omsk student Alexander Triputenya adhere to the same version of the motive for the crime in their testimonies. This was reported by the press service of the Investigative Committee of Russia, as stated by RIA Novosti.
All the detainees cited personal animosity as the reason for the crime, noted the regional Investigative Committee. None of them denies their guilt.
"All six defendants adhered to one version during the interrogation and did not confuse their testimonies," said a source to RIA Novosti.
The investigation is considering several versions of what happened, including personal conflict, contract killing, and financial disagreements.
All six individuals have been arrested for two months. They are charged under paragraph "j" of part 2 of article 105 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (murder by a group of individuals by prior agreement).
As previously reported, five of them came to Omsk specifically from St. Petersburg and Yekaterinburg. All participants in the crime (three young men and three girls aged 20 to 25) met online.
