      A state of emergency has been declared in Nizhnie Sergi, reports "Ъ-Ural" citing the information policy department of the Sverdlovsk region.

      During heavy rains, the Zastavka, Serga rivers, and the Nizhneserginskoye reservoir overflowed their banks. About 50 houses were affected by flooding, of which 48 private residential houses were inundated. Overflowing of the riverbed was also recorded near the pedestrian bridge on Zhukova Street, 103, the publication reports.

      In addition, floodwaters have submerged the Church of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross on Titova Street. They have already sought help through social networks.

      Other settlements in the Nizhneserginsky district, such as Bisert and Kirgishany, have also been affected by the rain flood.

      In Bilyimba (Pervouralsk district), as a result of rising water in the Patruzhikha River, 29 private residential houses were flooded, the department reported.
