      Users on social media are sharing footage of flooded streets in Yekaterinburg. The flood in the Middle Urals began against the backdrop of heavy precipitation in the region, which continued throughout Monday.       In the central part of the city, the streets of Malysheva, Gorkogo, Bolshakova, and Belinskogo have been flooded, reports RIA Novosti. Flooding is also observed on the outskirts - on the streets of Baku Commissioners, Ilyich, Stachek, Kobzev, and Cherkasskaya. The street of Mashinostroiteley and the Lukiny stop, as well as courtyards on 40th Anniversary of October, are under water.

      Residents of the house at Ilyich Street, 13 reported to the local public "Uralmash is worthy!" that their yard and entrances have been flooded. On Kalinina Street, 55, rainwater flooded the parking lot, basement premises, and electrical panels, and elevators were disabled, reports the "Uralmash Yekaterinburg" channel in MAX.

      This morning, a significant number of vehicle license plates were found in the water in Uralmash. According to local channels, the plates were found on Cosmonauts Avenue, on Ilyich - Pobedy, and on Baku Commissioners.

      According to the city hall, "due to the accumulation of rainwater," trolleybuses and trams were halted in Uralmash, as well as on Belinskogo - Bolshakova. Meteorologists and rescuers warned residents about heavy rains on Sunday evening. The rain flood occurred in 8 municipal districts, with the situation being most difficult in two populated areas.
