A private primary school with a state license has opened in a restored mansion at Proletarskaya, 3, which belonged to the local manufacturer Zlokazov before the revolution, reports 66.RU.
It became known in April of this year that a private school would appear in the old mansion located in the Literary Quarter. The restoration of the building was carried out by the company "Brusnika." As restorer Svetlana Malovich told, the mansion was in very poor condition.
Specialists tried to preserve the original appearance of the house as much as possible. In one of the classrooms, they even managed to preserve an antique stove.
Some rooms had to be restored based on old photographs. In particular, the veranda was recreated this way, which ultimately became the main "highlight."
During the insulation of the roof (through which the sky was visible in some places), an additional floor—an attic—was added.
The school will welcome its first students on September 1. The institution is currently obtaining a license for general education. The school is designed for 144 students.
It is already known that tuition will cost 100,000 rubles per month, writes 66.RU. This amount includes four meals a day and extracurricular activities.
