Design work is set to begin by the end of 2026.

As reported by the governor of the Sverdlovsk region, Denis Pasler, the new educational complex will be located in VIZ. The campus, covering an area of about 76,000 square meters, will unite educational buildings that are currently situated in different districts of Yekaterinburg.

According to the regional head, the chosen site is distinguished by good transport accessibility and is located near clinical bases where students will be able to undergo practical training.

The project to create the new campus previously received support from the Chairman of the Government of Russia, Mikhail Mishustin. It is planned to be implemented between 2028 and 2030. According to Denis Pasler, the unified educational complex will create modern conditions for training future doctors and strengthen the personnel potential of the healthcare system in the Sverdlovsk region.
