Jeff Monson was spotted coming out of "Monetka" with purchases in Yekaterinburg.
Mixed martial artist, former American citizen, and now Russian public and political figure Jeff Monson was spotted today leaving the "Monetka" supermarket in Yekaterinburg with shopping bags in hand.
In the footage published on social media, Monson is seen exiting "Monetka" with bags.
Apparently, he was immediately recognized— a man approached him asking for a photo together.
Jeff, along with his family, indeed flew to Yekaterinburg from Ufa, where he permanently resides, on July 18, local media in Yekaterinburg report. However, as the portal E1.RU writes, the 55-year-old famous athlete intends to move to the Ural capital for permanent residence in August to be able to visit his friend Kirill Potapov more often at the animal rescue rehabilitation center.
"This is what I want to do," Monson told E1.RU.
In April, Jeff Monson had already visited the Sysert district, where the "Alpha" wild animal rehabilitation center is located. One of the bear cubs there was named in his honor.
