Tons of vegetables were secretly imported into the Sverdlovsk region.
In Yekaterinburg, a large batch of vegetables was imported from Kazakhstan; however, the entrepreneur did not notify the authorized bodies about this. The violation was detected by specialists from the Ural Interregional Directorate of Rosselkhoznadzor.
According to the agency, on July 17, 46 tons of quarantine products arrived in the Ural capital: 18 tons of white cabbage, 18 tons of tomatoes, and 10 tons of zucchini. During the monitoring of the information system, it was found that the individual entrepreneur did not send the mandatory notification of the cargo's arrival.
Furthermore, the inspection revealed the absence of information about the completion of transportation and notification of the delivery of quarantine products to the destination, which is a violation of phytosanitary requirements.
In connection with the identified violations, Rosselkhoznadzor issued a warning to the entrepreneur about the inadmissibility of non-compliance with mandatory legal requirements.
