Media: One of the attackers on the agrarian scientist Ilya Zezin had previously dumped waste on the institute's fields.

      A colleague of the deceased director of the Ural Federal Agrarian Research Center of the Ural Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Nikita Zezin, informed journalists that during his life he had to fight for experimental fields and received threats.

      Moreover, according to Sevo styanov, one of the attackers on the scientist is the head of a wastewater disposal company, whose sewage trucks constantly dumped waste on the crops, reports URALLIVE.

      Recall that on July 13, the director of the center, Nikita Zezin, and his deputy Alexander Shanin, upon arriving at the experimental field, saw a group of children aged 8-10 riding quad bikes over the crops. The scientists decided to hand the children over to their parents and called one of the fathers. At the institute on Main Street in Yekaterinburg, they were met by men who arrived in several SUVs.

      Two of them began to beat 67-year-old Nikita Zezin and 58-year-old Alexander Shanin. The older of the victims was hospitalized shortly after the attack. On July 22, Nikita Nikolaevich passed away from a heart attack. Both attackers, men aged 38 and 39, have been detained, and today, July 30, a court hearing is scheduled to determine their preventive measures. It is already known that investigators will petition for their detention.

      UPD. According to E1.RU, the second detained, a 39-year-old man, is named Arkadiy Wagner. Relatives confirmed the fact of his detention. The court hearing to determine his preventive measure is scheduled for July 31. The first to be detained was 38-year-old Alexander Reveruk.
