Bloody raider Pavel Fedulev has returned to Yekaterinburg after serving his sentence
August 7, 2026 Raiding figure Pavel Fedulev, whose gang is linked to several murders, has been released from a correctional center of the Federal Penitentiary Service in the Perm region. He has already returned to Yekaterinburg, reports "KP-Yekaterinburg".
Fedulev's sentence was set to end in late 2025. In 2024, the court replaced the remainder of his sentence with community service. Fedulev was released on parole from the correctional facility in Solikamsk.
Pavel Fedulev is now 63 years old. After serving his sentence, he returned to his apartment in Uralmash, according to "KP-Yekaterinburg".
He was charged with a total of seven contract killings, among the victims were his former partners and subordinates, the publication writes. The aim was to seize assets through document forgery, coercive pressure, and physical elimination.
The future raider started by buying privatization vouchers and shares in the early 1990s. As a result, he became the owner of large enterprises such as the Kachkanar Mining and Processing Plant, and then entered regional politics, taking a seat in the Sverdlovsk Regional Duma in 1996.
Pavel Fedulev avoided life imprisonment by entering into a pre-trial cooperation agreement with the investigation. In 2011, the Sverdlovsk Regional Court sentenced him to 20 years in a strict regime colony. The convicted man has repeatedly submitted requests for a milder regime and early conditional release.
The raider's accomplice, killer Vitaly Pilshchikov, also achieved a reduction in his sentence, reports 66.RU. According to the portal, he lives in Yekaterinburg with his family outside the Federal Penitentiary Service facility and commutes to work using public transport.
However, on August 6, the Sverdlovsk Regional Court denied Pilshchikov's request for parole, despite his "exemplary behavior," notes 66.RU. According to the prosecutor, the convicted man does not deserve early release, as he stopped receiving incentives after transitioning to a free settlement. He still has nearly a year and a half of community service left to serve.
