A family from the Sverdlovsk region has become the best in Russia.

      The Chervyakov family from Pervouralsk became the winners of the All-Russian competition "Family of the Year" in the nomination "Family - Keeper of Traditions." Sverdlovsk spouses Yuri and Natalia are raising four children.

      The Chervyakovs actively participate in the public life of the city. Yuri works as the head of the section for preparing rolling tools at the Pervouralsk Novotrubny Plant, while Natalia is engaged in raising the children and works as a self-employed individual.

      The family travels together, engages in creative activities and sports, and participates in ecological and charitable events. The parents pay special attention to preserving family traditions and introducing their children to the cultures of the peoples of Russia.

      This year, 44 families from the Sverdlovsk region - about 250 people - participated in the municipal stage of the competition. Following the results of the regional stage, six winners were determined in different nominations. The Chervyakov family represented the Middle Ural at the federal stage and won in their category.

      The solemn award ceremony for the winners will take place on October 13 in Moscow.
