A Yekaterinburg resident was detained at Koltsovo Airport due to threats of murder against children.
At Koltsovo Airport, a 41-year-old man was detained on suspicion of making death threats and using violence against four children. This was reported by the press secretary of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the Sverdlovsk region, Valery Gorelykh.
According to him, the Yekaterinburg resident was detained after returning from abroad; he did not resist.
— According to the investigation, on the evening of July 29, near a house on Rosa Luxemburg Street in Yekaterinburg, the accused, harboring personal animosity towards the minors, made death threats and threats of harm to health against four children. The man also used physical force against them, the press service of the Investigative Committee for the Sverdlovsk region reported.
The man has been charged with "Hooliganism using an object used as a weapon" and "Threat of murder." The punishment provides for imprisonment of up to seven years.
Earlier, media reported that the suspect allegedly threatened the minors with a gun and forcibly led them to the Iset River. One of the reasons for the conflict was said to be the situation where the children teased the defendant's daughter.
