The traffic on the interchange at "Kalina" will be fully opened in September.

      The construction of the interchange near the Kalina concern is expected to be completed by September, with the landscaping of the area to be finished by November. Currently, the readiness of the project stands at 90%. This was reported by the mayor of Yekaterinburg, Alexey Orlov.

      — The construction of the interchange near Kalina is the most complex and largest infrastructure project being implemented in Yekaterinburg. The entire volume is divided into five stages. It includes overpasses with a total length of 2.2 kilometers and more than 10 kilometers of street and road network, Alexey Orlov wrote on his Telegram channel.

      The total area of asphalt will be 89,500 square meters, sidewalks will cover more than 21,700 square meters, and lawns will be about 66,500 square meters. Contractors have completed the waterproofing of the overpass structures and the laying of asphalt. Currently, specialists are working on the installation of expansion joints, transition sections, and the installation of barriers. Work continues on other sections of the interchange, where retaining walls and passages under the overpass are being built, as well as asphalt being laid at the intersection of Bazovoy Lane and the Siberian Highway, reports the publication "KP-Yekaterinburg." It was previously reported that the closure of traffic on the street near Kalina has been extended.
