The government of the Sverdlovsk region commented on the information about the fuel shortage and queues at gas stations.

      The Deputy Governor Sergey Shvindt stated that the supply of automotive fuel to remote areas of the Sverdlovsk region is being carried out in a regular mode. According to the Sverdlovsk regional government, in the last two weeks, gasoline and diesel fuel have been delivered to more than 20 populated areas, including Gary, Pelym, Ivdel, Tavda, Sosva, Shalya, and other remote territories. Fuel companies have confirmed the availability of necessary stocks at oil depots and gas stations, as well as their readiness to promptly fulfill targeted requests, reports "Signal Ural."

      — At the meeting, it was noted that the volume of fuel shipments to the region during the reporting period was no less than the figures of the previous week. The work on monitoring stocks and organizing fuel supplies in the Sverdlovsk region continues on a weekly basis, the DIPs of the Sverdlovsk region stated.

      However, in recent days, residents of Yekaterinburg have been complaining about fuel shortages and queues at gas stations. This has led to traffic jams. According to Yekaterinburg residents and fuel availability services at stations, representatives of other major federal networks, including "LUKOIL" and "Bashneft," there is no gasoline available in Yekaterinburg.
