      An accident involving an ambulance and a Suzuki occurred on Saturday, August 29, on Stepan Razin Street in Yekaterinburg. The traffic incident happened around four in the afternoon at an intersection. As the driver of the Suzuki explained to "Channel 4," he wanted to make it through on the still green light. He only noticed the ambulance, which was speeding through a red light, with his peripheral vision, but it was too late. After the collision, the ambulance flew onto the sidewalk and tipped over, reports "KP-Yekaterinburg." "I was driving fast, I won't lie, but I was moving on a green traffic light, I accelerated to make it. I simply didn't see the ambulance," the driver of the foreign car admitted to "Channel 4."

      In the medical "Gazelle," owned by the Sysert Central District Hospital, there were a driver, two paramedics, and a patient whom they were transporting to the Ural Institute of Cardiology from Dvurechensk.

      Injured staff members—one of the paramedics and the driver—were taken to Hospital No. 36 for examination and diagnosis, after which they were transferred to outpatient observation. The driver of the Suzuki cut his finger on the glass when he was pulled from the crumpled car through the window.

      Another ambulance transported the patient to the Regional Clinical Hospital No. 1, where he underwent a CT scan to rule out skeletal and cranial injuries.

      According to the regional Ministry of Health, those in the special vehicle were wearing seat belts, and the vehicle itself was moving with a flashing light and special sound signal.
