The natural park in the area of the Raduga-Park shopping and entertainment center will be transformed during the construction of the new large-scale residential quarter Forum Park on Zoologicheskaya Street, the developer Forum's press service reports.
"The first renovation of this area was carried out by the developer in 2012 together with the construction of the Raduga-Park shopping and entertainment center. At that time the developer created an attraction with infrastructure in the form of the mall and improved the site itself, covering almost 10 hectares, while preserving the greenery. An unsafe quarry was cleaned up and transformed into a beautiful pond; a waterfall, lighting and benches were added, and a Ferris wheel with heated cabins was installed. Specialists from a European design bureau were engaged to landscape the park; they helped create a project that would give this place new life without losing its natural charm," the developer's press service said.
The second phase of the renovation will be concentrated in the area formerly occupied by the tubing run. During the upgrade, two play areas with facilities for children of different ages will be created here, along with two sports courts and a workout zone. Benches and gazebos will be placed along the new walking alleys.
The renewed park space will directly border the courtyard area of the residential quarter and will also be connected by a pedestrian alley to the site of the new Gymnasium No. 116, which will be built on the site of the existing karting center. Forum is also leading the design work for the new educational institution.
