The Telegram channel "Antiterror Ural" reported the appearance of a fake video featuring the acting governor of Sverdlovsk Oblast, Denis Pasler.

— "Antiterror Ural has detected an attempt to spread a deepfake alleging a fuel shortage in Sverdlovsk Oblast. The information does not correspond to reality," the regional FSB's public account noted.
They noted that the footage was based on a video made in 2024. This is not the first time that malicious actors have created deepfakes featuring Pasler, EAN writes. In mid-August the regional FSB detected a similar case.
